You are applying to Berkeley and Hastings? With your states (based on Boalt transfer thread), you will have no problem with Hastings...though going to Hastings without Law Review/scholarship money might be painful.

I seem to recall Hastings getting back to me a little later than other transfer schools. I think I didn't get accepted until right after 4th of July weekend or somewhere around there, and it was by email.

congrats to those accepted! what were your stats and when did you turn in your app?

do they actually send out complete emails? I haven't heard in awhile since they told me they'd notify me when I go complete.

I applied on June 15th. I received an application acknowledgement email, but not a complete notification. I'll PM you my stats.

Got this e-mail, which will make for a very exciting weekend o' waiting:

To all those who were admitted, did you receive an admission packet in the mail?

BTW, I was just admitted and I will probably be attending this fall.

CONGRATS! No packet yet for me. I did go by there today just to poke around, get a better feel for the place etc. Spoke with Christian at the Admissions Office and a rising 2L who's working there. Both were awesome - really helpful, honest answers to my many questions, patient and just very welcoming. Also, if you haven't been there the library is beautiful.

Since I'm out at Boalt, it would be between Hastings and Davis for me. I'm almost certain I'll be at Hastings this fall since I can just live at home. I paid deposit over the weekend so I can take a look at their OCI employers.

I'm still waiting on a decision because my school sent in rankings pretty late. But I was wondering how everyone feels about Davis v. Hastings, pros and cons of each school. (I'm not sure I'd even have the option to make that choice, but if given the option, I'd like some opinions).

Accepted today via e-mail. Top 16% at lower T2 in the Midwest. Still waiting on four other schools, so we'll see. Really excited, though! This is my first transfer acceptance (or response at all for that matter...I was beginning to lose hope). GL to those waiting!
