A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but UCLA may have added a couple of more people last year after the info session. People who have deposited may still pull out.

Point is, until you've been rejected, you're still in the running.

last year's official 2010 transfer thread doesn't have anyone that was accepted after the info session i believe...

the rejections, if they follow last year's schedule, should arrive by the end of next week (before the 22nd)

rejection letter just sent. a buddy of mine also just got one both of us at about top 6-7 percent tier 4 :(

As a warning to future transfer applicants, apply early. It seems a sizable portion of the acceptances went out before July 1st.

I know a lot of schools drag their feet on getting required documents out in a timely fashion, so it might not be entirely in an applicant's control though.

yes thats true I started very early but the registrar just did not cooperate. I had to call the deans office and the secretary called the registrar and then after numerous emails the person just happened to pick up the phone one day and she was very rude but I finally made her send everything.

Ditto. I didn't get all my things in till last week. My school didn't send out class ranking till last week! ugggh.

accepted today via phone call. Top 10% at a T2. Good luck to all still waiting and I look forward to meeting some of you in the fall!
