Does anyone know how important 'Optional Essays' are? Will not doing the option essay hurt ones chances for admission.

Any knowledge about this would be appreciated.

A well done optional essay can only help you but not doing it isn't going to hurt you. I got into a super reach for me without doing their optional essay.
