Transferring from Berkeley to Columbia or NYU

I'm a 1L at Boalt looking to transfer to Columbia or NYU for personal reasons. I know you have to be in the top 1-10% coming from lower tier schools, but what is the standard for a lateral-ish transfer like this one? And given Boalt's grading system (P/H/HH), does anyone know how many H/HH's are needed to transfer? Lastly, how do Columbia and NYU weigh other factors, like 1L extracurriculars, LSAT score, and undergrad GPA?

Thanks!!

1L extracurriculars (unless you found cure for cancer or started your own country), LSAT score, and undergrad GPA are virtually irrelevant in the transfer process.

What is your best guess re:your class rank?
