Conditional Acceptance and Spring Grades?

Do schools have varying GPA/Rank requirements for conditional acceptances after one semester's worth of grades? Most conditional acceptance seem to state that they are conditional upon a receipt of a final transcript and letter of good standing after Spring semester.

Are schools likely to reject a candidate who has been conditionally accepted after one semester's grades if their grades drop somewhat in the Spring?

I presume you are talking about EA/ED. Most conditional acceptances say that they reserve the right to rescind the offer if there is a significant drop in grades. I would imagine this means dropping an entire grade point or so.. basically once you have been accepted, you need to really fuck up in order for them to rescind, like fail a class. They just don't want you to stop giving a shit at your current school after you've been accepted. They won't care if you go from a 3.8 to a 3.5.

The way you've phrased it, it sounds like your conditional acceptance is only conditional on you not failing out of school. So, like the previous poster said, unless you pretty much forget how to do law school this semester, you are probably in.
