Thread to help future transfers

It would be awesome if people who have transferred form from a T2 or lower into a T1 or higher could post what strategies they used to do well their first year in law school. I have read Arrow's thread but would love varied perspectives on this. Did you guys that successfully transferred to a T1 do any 0L prep or did you use any sort of strategies during 1L year that helped you significantly? Please comment on here so that you can help future transfers. Thanks in advance.

The LSAT is easier than law school. Study for that, do well on it, and get into whatever school you want. Don't concede a low LSAT score, and then have to rely on top 10% or higher performance in law school, because chances are it won't happen. However, you have all the time in the world to control your LSAT destiny.

That thread has proved useless. It would be nice to get actual strategies from current 2Ls or 3Ls who transferred.

drink as much alcohol as you physically can the summer before law school begins, study and close down the library nightly once class starts and dont panic on finals
