I don't know where to find the information you are requesting, but I know, at least in theory, Harvard wants a reason why you want to be in Cambridge. With your grades, I should imagine you will have a great shot at Harvard.

seems pretty useless or at least disorganized. what would you think the basic gpa floor for cls - hls is?

There is literally no data on this and you may be the first TLS poster trying this (at least openly). You have a compelling reason, your SO, and good grades from a peer school, so you should have a good shot at top 15%.

I seem to remember somebody saying that a columbia student transfered with a 3.6 a few years back and that it was assumed he was accepted only becuase his wife was going to HBS. A 3.6 is about top 10%, so that would seem to suggest really high standards even for cls students. then again people are usually misinformed

Unsolicited advice: "Tough it out" at CLS (a laughably stupid application of the phrase, which should tell you all you need to know about the position you're in) for the next two years. Take some o' that biglaw SA money and fly first class to see your SO two or three times per semester. Moving for a spouse is one thing. An SO?

Personally, I can't imagine this transfer being worth it.

ah, but tis not the case! rather, like Icarus gliding too closely to the sun, he must have been burned once...by love, as it may be worse to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.

I believe a poster "dbt" transferred to Yale from CCN. IIRC, he was top 5%. I haven't seen him post in a while, but you may want to shoot him a PM if you're looking for some good insight.
