I'm curious

What would it take for someone at a T20 (WUSTL/Emory/BC/Minn) to be able to transfer into the t14? 25% is what I am thinking for GT/Cornell but I would love some insight.

I have a feeling it takes something higher than top 25% to transfer up, but I could be wrong.

Bumping for interest.

Any links that have stats like this? Tried search but didn't find anything.

Predictions increase in accuracy exponentially when we have your stats to work with. Even a range would be fine. If you're curious about chances in the aggregate (i.e. "what it would take to transfer from X to Y") then check out the rest of this forum or the transferapps database on yahoo. Just remember that transfer admissions are notoriously tough to predict.

Cheers

Arrow's post goes into this somewhat (though it's a bit more general)-http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 22&t=82937

That thread really should be stickied for the transfer forum.

25% is not enough. More like 15% to have a realistic shot.

Can transfers ever get money? Or do you walk away from your money and pay sticker?

You pay sticker unless you qualify for need-based aid (easier at some schools than at others).

OP is a 0L and gets a timeout.
