Above a 3.6; however, i was tied with maybe 3 or 4 other students for the number one ranking after my first semester. Also, this is not a flame.MrPapagiorgio wrote:I'll bite. GPA at Cooley before transfer?
How much above a 3.6? Call me crazy, but I'm a bit skeptical that a GPA of around 3.6 would tie you for the "number one ranking," even at Cooley.Mox wrote:Above a 3.6; however, i was tied with maybe 3 or 4 other students for the number one ranking after my first semester. Just outside the top 5%. I declined to participate in OCI. I figured I would wait until I got some grades at my current institution then try to apply for jobs.rman1201 wrote:What was your Cooley ranking?
How's OCI for you?
Cooley has a ridiculously harsh curve its like 2.5 or somethin crazy like thatMrPapagiorgio wrote:How much above a 3.6? I was tied for number 1 after my first semester when I had a 4.0.MrPapagiorgio wrote:How much above a 3.6? He was tied for #1 after the first semester. He wasn't #1 when he transferred after his first year.MrPapagiorgio wrote:What?? You just said you wereMox wrote:Just outside the top 5%.rman1201 wrote:What was your Cooley ranking?

OK, this is obviously a flame. And a pretty terrible attempt at it too.Mox wrote:Also, this is not a flame.

This not a flame. I'm not sure exactly how to prove it.XxSpyKEx wrote:Mox wrote:I declined to participate in OCI. 8 Posts but joined May 2010. And a quick look at his posts reveals postings regarding TTTT -> T25 transfers way back when. Not a flame (or an extremely elaborate one).XxSpyKEx wrote:Mox wrote:I declined to participate in OCI. Who "declines" to participate in OCI to wait for grades at the new school (i.e. after all large and midsize law firms are done hiring)? Also, a poster with 8 posts who knows what a "flame" is, and says that they are not a flame up front...
The best advice I can give you is to work hard. Law schools are filled with tons of smart lazy kids that can be easily outworked.policestate1234 wrote:Congrats bro! How did you prepare for law school? any advice about doing well in law school?
Yes. OP waited 8 months to do the flame. What an evil genius!rman1201 wrote:8 Posts but joined May 2010. And a quick look at his posts reveals postings regarding TTTT -> T25 transfers way back when.
