Top 10% at 80's school to DC area?

Hey all,

I need to return to DC for family/personal reasons. What do you think my chances are at GMU, GW, American, Georgetown EA? FWIW, I have some very strong softs and one of my recommenders is a Federal Judge who currently teaches at Georgetown (don't know how much that will weigh). Do you think I would have any shot at William and Mary?

Thanks.

DC = very hard market with people from harvard, yale, and the rest of t-14 applying. Don't do it.

I would think you'll get American for sure, but that debt is going to crush you. I realize you have to do this for family reasons, but I hope you can get something like GMU or W&M at the very least. GULC isn't gonna happen unless you're like top 3-5% IMO, but their EA process is really acky so you can send out and app and try. Stranger things have happened.

My post-graduation employment plans are already taken care of (jesus, that sounds/is douchey). I just need to be in DC for family reasons this following year. Any other opinions on my prospects at those schools?

Where did he say he was applying to the DC market post grad?

OP you've probably got an outside shot at Gerogetown EA, should be in anywhere else.

It's not exactly a leap to assume he wanted to work in DC area if he was transferring to DC area.
