USF to UC Hastings/Davis?

My grades are trickling in and so far they have been pretty decent. I'm not sure what my specific rank will be until a few weeks from now. I was just wondering, what rank would I need to have a good shot at transferring to Hastings or Davis from University of San Francisco? Thanks!

Whatever grades you get, you'll need to sustain/raise them for the next semester, as neither Hastings nor Davis has an early acceptance program for transfers. Other than that, check out the transferapps yahoo database and the rest of the forum for hard numbers, with the caveat that transfer admissions is an increasingly competitive black box of sorts.
Congrats on the grades so far. Keep up the hard work and you might be shooting for UCLA/USC instead of Davis/Hastings!

USF is a T2/T3 school (ie. moves between the tiers) so based on the information posted in this forum (no expert here...just looking because I might try a T10 transfer if my spring grades are good), I'd assume you would need to be in the top 10% (or maybe 5% since USF is a low T2).
If you rank near the top of your class you should look at UCLA/USC. Berkeley is transfer friendly as well and might be a viable option if you rank in the top 1% (or maybe even as low as 3%).

I think this is generally credited. Since you are coming from a Bay Area school, you may get a slight "bump" at Hastings/Davis though. I have seen this sort of thing happen before, but I doubt that it is enough to exempt you from the general top 5-10% guideline.
Good luck!

There are 2-3 USF transfers at Boalt this year.
