Hey,

I thought I'd start a separate thread for those of us planning to attend Penn this fall. I live in Philadelphia, so if any of you are moving here and have questions about the area, please feel free to hit me up!

I'll be attending.

I'm already living in Philadelphia for the summer, and I'm super excited to stay here!

Is anyone else doing the Journal of Law and Social Change application?

I got the impression that there is one Law Journal write on to be completed, and from that you are invited to the different journals that you qualify for. What is the application for the Journal of Law and Social Change?

http://www.law.upenn.edu/journals/jlasc/

its a separate application, slightly different than the write on, and its due next friday. there is more info in the application packet.

the rest of the journals are part of the same write on, as far as i can tell.

Hi all, I am attending -- and currently in Philly looking for places to live.

I would have liked to do the law and social change app, but no way I can hack that by next Friday.

I guess I can join the group. Mailed my deposit today. I'll be flying out from CA next week to find a place to live. Considering doing the Law and Social Change assignment.

Mailed my deposit yesterday. Looking for a place to live right now...a little overwhelmed. I'd like to live in Center or University City and optimally within walking distance (1 mile or so) of the school. Anyone have any tips, good realty companies/landlords (an oxymoron, I know), etc.? Thanks! As a side note, anyone doing the write on competition?
