Transfer question

Just curious: are there schools that accept transfers after 2L year (or at other unusual times)? From what I understand the only possible time to transfer is immediately after 1L year, but I am wondering if there are ever exceptions to this.

i believe there is an exception when a student takes 2 years of part time studies or evening courses. though you should be warned all of your credits will not be transferable as most schools have like a max 29-32 transfer credits that they accept. if you are willing to sacrifice units then it is up to you.

There are schools that will accept up to 45 transfer credits. I'm not sure if there's an affirmative ABA requirement, however, regarding the number of credits you have to take at your second school.

I know of someone (a couple years ago) that was parttime at a Chicago T2 for two years and transferred to Chicago for the other two years.
