Top Law Schools

I was recently accepted as a transfer student from Cooley to a school ranked between T22 and T34. Should I even bother bidding? I'd give out more information but I have a feeling that there aren't many former Cooley students in my transfer class.

Any honest advice would be appreciated.

If you are a 0L at a TTTT do NOT plan on transferring; while it is certainly possible, it is anything but probable. Save yourself the stress and retake the LSAT or get more work experience.

if i were you I would bid. why not. just cuz ur form a T4 does not mean you are inept. clearly you did well to get where you are at, and they may recognize that you are smart and just didnt perform well in ug or on the lsats. to let go of your chances to bid on firms would be stupid in my opinion. it's not like ur paying for each bid- essentially you have nothing to lose.

edit: you may want to ask peoples under "employment" section- they probably have better advice.

Also, if anyone with administrative ties affirmatively offers to write you a letter of recommendation, run in the other direction as fast as you can, no matter how apparently nice the person. It's a trick - get an axe.

Go for it. You have nothing to lose and your expectations seem to be in check.

Does not hurt to try, but don't get your hopes up.
