TTT to Villanova or UConn

Have to make a decision by this week. Any thoughts? I don't care where I practice. What school has the better chance of a bigger salary in its home market? Nova in Philly or UConn in Hartford?

I was initially attracted to Villanova because it is a private school, the undergraduate program is a well respected name, and it seems to place more of its students in the NLJ 250 (ranked 39th) However, UConn is ranked higher in the USNWR.

Follow the USNWR rankings or follow the NLJ 250 numbers?

Disclamer. I understand the "go to school where you want to practice" mantra. I have no preference between CT or PA.

My guess is hartford. In Philly you have Villy + Temple competing. Then add in some Upenn grads who want to stay and it makes for a VIP party which you will prob not be invited to.

Hartford only has Uconn. I doubt many yale grads will want to work in Hartford.
Either way its going to be hard for you to get a midlaw/biglaw job.

Good luck!

Depending on your grades and location of the TTT, you would probably be better off staying put.
