Congratulations! If you don't mind me asking, why did you decide to transfer? Those stats + I'm sure you graded onto LR make you a MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE (all caps required). Are you afraid of rocking the boat and starting fresh? Obviously employers will still see your transcripts, so it's not like you're completely throwing it away, but still, I'd be a little nervous!arstech wrote:In via phone call this afternoon.

u don't start all over and you could've competed for SLR. Plus plenty of ppl at SLS get amazing COA clerkships w/o LR. Plus people who transferred did very well in OCI and getting clerkships. They might have had the same success as they did at their old school but they might not have. If you're not getting money at your old school you might not be losing much by transferring. You still have plenty of time to make connections (quarter system = 3 sets of professors to choose from).bizen boat wrote:Congratulations! If you don't mind me asking, why did you decide to transfer? I certainly didn't mean to come across sounding like arstech could anticipate a bad outcome no matter what he decides to do. Really, I more was wondering what gave you the impetus to transfer in the first place?legends159 wrote:u don't start all over and you could've competed for SLR.
