I have a horrible GPA (2.6) but wonderful work experience with major Investment Banks. (LSAT 158, UGPA 3.42) LORs are good. I am just wondering if I'd like to live in NYC, is my chance of getting into Cardozo big?

Flame? Or are you ESL? Why did you achieve such a low GPA your first year?

No idea, but since they're similarly ranked, maybe. Give it a try and tell us what happens.
Honest question: Have you considered dropping out and going back to finance?
edit: Also, look at the transferapps group on yahoo:

I've never heard of anyone transferring lateral, or down the T2 when they were under the median at their T2 school (and I've done a lot of research). On yahoo transferapps I think there are only a couple top 50% transfers and only one of them succeeded, and it was a transfer down. It would be especially difficult to transfer that far under the median (I think Case median is a 3.0 or a 3.1). But sure go ahead and try, if you write a great PS, have a great justification for your grades, and really push your softs, maybe. 0 to 5% chance.
