"Other," meaning "other than GULC." I think there's also an American thread also, so . . . has anyone heard from GW, GMU, or Catholic?

Curious....what's the draw of D.C. if not for GULC or maybe GW?

For me, the main draw is that I think there are a lot of good job opportunities there - if not real, post-grad, paying jobs, at least good experience builders to take advantage of during school. Not that these don't exist elsewhere, but I just think there are a lot in DC.

However, I'm not set on DC at all. I want to compare my acceptances and do a full comparison - tuition, job opps, internship opps, location/quality of life, etc.

Having lived in D.C. for a year, the draw is the excellent job market (relative to the rest of the U.S.) and the fact that there's a ton of things to do here for fun. The demographics are great for young professionals -- the population is largely in the 18-35 range and single (especially Arlington).

On the downside, the weather, at least for the past year, has quite frankly sucked: This winter was snowmageddon and the last few weeks have been hot, humid, windless 90-100 degree days. But it's not like NYC or Chicago are that much better in this respect.

That's one of the reasons why Seattle is the best, but it's like 100 degrees there too right now.
