Thoughts on what rank a VA resident would need to have in order to transfer into UVA??
Don't go to law school intending to transfer. For god's sake.

There needs to be a disclaimer on the top of this page.

You'll need to be at least top 15% at WM to get into UVA. Probably top 10%.

Going to law school intending to transfer, however, is a horrible idea and you will likely end up disappointed. Don't go somewhere you would not feel comfortable graduating from.

This thread makes me sad that I didn't apply to W&M. Problem is I probably already way overdid it with 13 apps, haha.

I'm assuming this is rising 2L and not a 0L. (0L's see above).

UVA accepts a large number (like, more than 2) W&L and W&M students each year. Usually this is like as far down as top10%. UVA also LOOOOVES residents. So I'd say top 25% should just go for it, and obviously anything closer to the top should increase the chances.

You think they'd have to dip that low for residents?

Although, if you really want it, I suppose a hail mary is well worth the 90 bucks.

Hell yes. That's the spirit I'm talking about.
