I've been under review for most of the month, also. However, I think the waiting period length is related to the competitiveness of the candidate. We saw one person with really high numbers be UR and admitted the same day in this thread.mars1686 wrote:under committee review 7/12

This is such typical TLS nittery/detective paranoia on my part, but I can't help but ask: does everyone's status checker have a line for "Seat Deposit 0.0" under application fee on the lower left?

What is taking them so long? There are obviously a finite number of spots left and a finite number of apps in. Any idea when we will hear anything from them?

Congrats! You know you want to stay in CA. PA is cold, lots of snow, and it rains here alot, except when it's really hot, humid and buggy. Oh, and I'd like your spot at Penn please

Dear Penn,
My turn!
Although then I'll be faced with a brutal decision I'm incapable of making.
So I'll take it as a blessing either way.
(im actually being serious... not hedging for once in my life on TLS).

Re: Penn - Under Committee Review
T5-7%ish (who knows the class # keeps fluctuating) at an 80s T2
have PA ties, but i dont think that carried much weight. i had a superstar first semester, and my second semester was marred by one very low outlier grade which i think cost me a lot (obviously in the class i studied the most for and felt most confident about).
it's no big deal... off to gulc i go! with the way some T2-T3 students have gotten thrashed this cycle, i feel very fortunate i was able to take advantage of EA!
