Transfer from part time status

Hi
I will be starting as a part time student at an out-of-town tier 4 law school. I plan to apply transfer back to another school back home. Is the transfer procedures the same for the part time status and if so is it harder than full time status?

The transfer process is basically the same (i.e. you need to do well, send transcripts, get letters of recommendation). Some full time programs (like Boalt) specifically state that they don't allow part-time students to transfer into their program. Other programs (like Hastings) state that you need to have completed or be in the process of completing a certain amount of credits (I think at Hastings it is 24, which means a part-time student probably wouldn't qualify unless they were signed up and taking summer classes). Transferring from a part-time program to another part-time program is usually easier than transferring from a part-time program to a full time program.

That being said, you can get into boalt being PT.
