Top Law Schools

So I am at a tier 3 very near MI, top 2-3% and just got a phone call from admissions accepting me to their transfer class for this upcoming fall! I was going to apply to higher (Columbia, NYU, Chicago), but seeings Michigan is a fabulous school very near my home, I don't really think it is worth the few spots higher in the rankings, wasn't sure if the few spots higher made a huge difference if it wasn't HYS.

I was really hoping to be part of this first wave of acceptances but I think my letter of good standing just went out. Really pisses me off since Mich is basically my target.

Ouch - I've been complete for a while, so I'm guessing that I'm dinged. Should have expected it with my pedigree, but I think I deluded myself into thinking I could charm my way in regardless - UMich was my #1 as well.

Haha, fair enough. Just trying to manage my expectations. But regardless, you're right.

I applied I believe around June 14 or 15? (that's a ballpark), and actually never got an "official app went complete" email, I emailed admissions about a week after I applied double checking to see if there was anything else I needed to send since I hadn't gotten the app complete email and she emailed back saying my app was complete (that was on June 21), got the phone call today.

I applied to mich, too. are there any current um students who can speak to how transfers generally fare at OCI????

I wish I could claim him for my own, but that is actually Uno, the beagle who won Westminster in 2008. He is therefore basically the perfect beagle, and it is unsurprising he causes your head to feel like it will explode
