Anyone have experience with this? If you don't submit your deposit by June 30, it looks like you get left over scraps.

I wouldn't bank on last year's info being current or relevant. This year's OCI bidding starts July 26. Beyond that, I unfortunately don't have any info for you..

So I take it they start making acceptances very soon (this is assuming last year's policy extended to this year).

This may have changed, but I received my Duke transfer acceptance on July 11 during my cycle (two years ago), and I think that was among the first wave of acceptances. Can't comment on OCI, as I didn't end up going there (although, IIRC, the Duke admissions people were very, very nice).

Disclaimer: Again, this was two cycles ago.

Old school was mid to low end T2, top 2 percent of class after 1L year. Good letters, probably "okay" personal statement (I abhor writing those things). Some people seem to be concerned about one outlier grade, too, so I'll say that I had pretty much all A+/A/A-'s except for one outlier B- in a "core" class (think not LRW). I was admitted to multiple T14s, spanning the entire CCNMVPBNDGC range. I applied to pretty much all of those and H.
