I can see the value in transferring to GT, Mich, NW, and Vandy... not so much WU or ND. That said, in at GT and vandy, out everywhere else.

Implicit in my assumption was the best school that OP will get into is GT. I don't think his chances of getting a job through OCI will be necessarily increased substantially by that transfer. Obviously if OP has geographical preferences that would change the equation.

I heard that UCLA takes a lot more instate transfers. I am not from cali.

The school I am in basically owns its secondary market. However, i would rather go to a "big" city.
