Top Law Schools

Hello fellow transfer wannabes...Just got my grades and class rank. 3.67, which is top 10% at a CA school in the 50s. I was deferred at Gtown and submitted my final grades today. I would like to get back to the northeast.

Potential schools...
NYU- first choice and clearly a reach
Penn? (attended Wharton for undergrad)
Fordham

Any other suggestions?

Judging by transferapps data, mvp certainly looks possible. Maybe a ccn will bite, but unlikely.

Well, the most obvious point is that one (top9% at X school) is an objectively higher gpa and class rank than the other (top 11% at X school), so I'd say that matters. Second, as far a top 10% being a meaningful distinction, some schools allow the top 10% to automatically grade on to L. Rev., and I'd like to think that journal membership is a favorable soft.

that is correct. i was able to grade-on to law review because i was within the top 10%.
