T4 student trying to transfer

I want to go to either Texas Tech, U of H, or UT. Do I have a shot at either school? My gpa is 3.19 which would put me in the top 11 to 12 percent of the class based on last years rankings (below) (We are on a C curve).

You should have a strong chance of being admitted to Houston, in at Texas Tech, and Texas is worth a try especially if you are a resident.

I would say IN at U of H and Texas Tech, and if you can qualify as a Texas resident, then UT is definitely worth the app.

(Had no idea any law school had C curves. Do any students get A's??)

^ On a normal curve, wouldn't that mean 9% get F's?

Anyway, since I saw you only have 4 posts, I wanted to include the obligatory "see Arrow's transfer thread" post (link below), in case you've yet to read it.

actually that is exactly the percent that do not make it back at my current school after their 1L year. thanks, this thread actually helps out a lot. Hopefully this transfer stuff works out for most of us.
