1L law schol on resume under "Education"

Post by handlebutton » Wed Jun 09, 2010 12:52 pm

or do you just put your new school under "Education"?

It seems misleading to not mention that 1/3rd of your legal education was at a different school, especially if it is some local state school. For instance, if you went to law school at Penn State and transferred to U Penn, it is not right to exclude Penn State from your "Education" section. Correct?

This is very relevant if you strike out for 2L oci, or if you apply to jobs as a lateral, etc.

Whatever you do, make sure to spell school with two o's.
