I'll only do this once. I would appreciate your input on my transfer list. Thanks!
Stats:
Tier 2 (70s-90s), West Coast
3.79 (Top 3-4%)
-(Harvard - dare I waste the money just for kicks? Or, in other words, do I have a greater than 10% shot?)
-Columbia
-Chicago (Put on hold for ED)
-Berkeley (already applied)
-NYU
-Penn
-GULC (admitted EA)

With the caveat that transfer admissions are always a bit random: In at Penn and Berkeley, probably in at NYU, good chance at Columbia, Chicago is a toss-up, Harvard is probably a no but worth the application. Good luck.

Exact same GPA here at a school in the 60's, just got grades today so no rank. Also got in GULC EA and am considering just taking it at this point so I don't have to go through the app process again...that being said I'd say you have the best shot at Berkeley, given that your school's on the west coast, good shot at Penn, pretty good shot at NYU/CLS, and almost no shot at Harvard (my impression was that they didn't dip below T1 in taking transfers, but you never know you might be the exception).
I think my rank will end up being a point or two lower than yours, but I'll probably end up throwing apps to Penn and NYU/CLS. Good luck!

+1 to the whole list.
That was my list before I got into Chi. I might have added Stanford . . .

Throw Stanford into the mix. You will likely get Berk. Good job.

BK, I feel the same as you. I'm so excited for GULC that it will be hard to change my mindset and focus on another school. But, like everyone says, transfers are random and GULC might be my best option. Either way, I'm excited.
