do they need to be received by June 15? the website does not specify...i was going to send them thru LSAC. when i submit my app, must the recs be received by LSAC as well? i forget...thanks!

I thought stanford required recs to be sent directly to the school.

and I would email or call and ask about the deadline, a lot of schools give a bit of leeway on teh deadlines.

You only need to have your application in by June 15th, but the LoRs, transcripts, etc. can all be updated after that date.

also, do Stanford LORs need to fill out those extra forms that are specific to Stanford, or is that an undergrad app. relic that sticks around for the transfer apps? Why are California school deadlines June 15/

I don't know about transfer students, but for regular admission to the Law School applicants were "highly encouraged" to make us of the Stanford-specific LOR forms (which are available on the SLS website). I can't imagine I'd be too different for transfer students.

I don't think the questionnaires are anything other than 'residual forms' from the 0L app.

I hope that's the case. I have just sent straight up apps.

Wait you mean like the u-grad dean form? Cuz they told me it was required.
