Are apps considered on a rolling basis at T-14 schools? When should I expect to hear back assuming they have my app and grades by mid-June? Anyone know the answer historically? How fast is the cheetah?

Yale doesn't roll. Not to nitpick.

yeah, forgot about Yale. That's the way transfer admissions should roll, in my book.

I actually kind of wish they weren't rolling b/c some schools screw people with posting grades and rank later. I am in an o.k. situation b/c I get everything by June 15th, but still, other may be accepted before I even go complete.

Yeah, I hear that. Some probably have a jump on me already. I have everything in except one grade. As soon as that comes in I'm sending off the unofficials. Lets hope I get quick responses.

How does sending unofficials work? Can I print my unofficial transcript and mail it to the schools, or does my registrar need to send something?

Depends on the school. Some you can literally email your grades and they will accept you on condition that they receive an official transcript at some point.

What kind of disadvantage do you think I will be at with not sending my Apps out until the upcoming week?

(Particularly at Mich, PK?)

Yeah, I'm confused as well. Your registrar won't send an official transcript as soon as grades are posted? (is this common?)

Most schools are willing to work with you on unofficial transcripts. Often you can even fax or email them, which is what I did a few years ago. Call the schools and ask.

Are you serious? Almost no one has everything in yet. That's like saying "My summer associate job starts at 9 am. Will I be at a disadvantage if I only show up at 8:30?"

Or "Am I at a disadvantage because I only study 13 hours a day?"

Be wary of taking advice from people who have a horse in the race. There are fewer spots available on rolling admissions later in the game, the quicker, the better.
