Rolling admissions?

After a brief search on this forum, I couldn't find out any information on whether the admissions process for transfers is rolling. I know there was some talk of it in the GULC EA thread, but for the other schools, how much of an impact will getting your application in before the last second have?

I'm planning to cram for the patent exam immediately after final exams are over, and hopefully pass it shortly before the 7/1 and 7/15 deadlines (I probably won't even try for the 6/15 deadline). Would including a line on my resume that I have passed the patent bar give me enough reason to not have a life for the entire months of May and June? More importantly, is waiting until a couple days before the deadline to submit these applications at all advisable?

I thought about whether to wait until grades to apply to make sure I don't waste the app fee. In the end I think the benefit of submitting early outweighs waiting. Even if the school doesn't read your app until it is complete, it still shows strong interest to apply very early.

In your situation just indicate that you intend to take the patent bar. Then once you do (and pass) it will give a great reason for a follow-up letter with the school LOCI style.

I definitely plan on waiting until grades come out to make sure the app fee is not a waste. Since I will likely be blanketing the t14, I can't afford 2,000 just to find out that I am only top 30% or something. Besides, my personal statement is based heavily on my law school accomplishments, I don't know how I would alter it without including the second semester grades.

I am hoping that schools will accept my application or transfer certification form before my personal statement - I want to make sure I get my apps in before the deadline and early as possible and those cert forms have already shown to be complicated. Anyone know if they will accept an app with a transfer cert form or just a transfer cert form before a personal statement is in and just have your file be incomplete until it is sent after grades?

I'm 90% sure this isn't like the first time around and is instead basically not rolling at all. One piece of evidence is that many schools let admitted transfers know all at the same time. I don't think it makes sense to apply before grades.
