You'll probably want to wait until it has been 91 days from when you first applied. On studentloans.gov it says they only run the credit check if it has been more than 90 days since the last credit check.nax425 wrote:
I also applied for Grad Plus, whoops. Guess I'll just do it again on June 15th.

Ooh, I love Gewurtztraminer! It's one of my favorite whites, along with Gruner Verliner and Riesling. Guess I'm a big fan of Germany/Austria/Alsace.MSPeast wrote: Anyway, before the coming snowfall, I decided to go get some Gewurztraminer from Washington State. It's kind of a play on Gewirz and Washington DC -- plus, it comes from a rainy state so it feels appropriate. Plus, I get to celebrate moving to a place where it never snows in May!
This is also a good time to get started on the pre-June 1st loan process, so thanks very much Volsi for doing that homework! I can't really call from work, and they're an hour ahead, so I don't have much of a window to call them at all, really.
I'm glad to be of help. I hate calling, but its something I have to get over to be a good lawyer so I figure this is practice.
OH - she also said that for those getting grants/scholarships, sending back the signed letter is very important. But I figured you all knew that, anyway.

Re: GULC c/o 2013
Hi all. I had a question about employment coming out of GULC that I wasn't sure where to post, so hopefully you guys know something about it. Do you guys think that it's easier for full-time students from GULC to get biglaw jobs when compared to the PT class? If so, how much easier? Are there any employment statistics from GULC that do not include the PT students? Thanks for any help.

I have absolutely no statistics to back up my claim, but I'd wager that a Georgetown Degree is a Georgetown Degree. Where in your class you graduate is likely far more important that full or part time. Depending on where you work on those hours that you're not spending at Law School like the rest of us, it's a possibility that the law firms may even like your work experience better. Again, this is a baseless claim from a guy who chose to do full-time based on advice from a guy I worked with at Senator Nelson's office.

Friend did PT program, but worked full time. Graduated top half of class and now works at one of the 25 biggest law firms.

I think this is a definite project. I'm sure we can find one blond guy, a skinny brown haired guy and another guy built like a football player. And they'll already have suits.
