More details!

The money thing isn't a huge deal with offers that close. Boston is probably more expensive than the Twin Cities but even then, the extra 10 grand or whatever won't be that big a deal...I guess it comes down to where you want to live when you're done. TLS will say that BU has the better national reputation...I dunno about that but if you know you want to stay on the east coast then go to BU. If you like the midwest go to MN.

On second thought, go to BU so I can have your spot at MN

Career goals? Geographic preferences?

What about BU sticker vs. Minnesota? I actually haven't heard from BU yet about $. At this point, I'm indifferent with respect to geography. I think I might love the TC, but I'm not sure of this. I'm from the East. Thanks for the feedback, Slimpee.

I vote for BU - I think it's the stronger choice in terms of career prospects in the future (especially if you want to practice on the east coast).

Something to keep in mind: 20k a year at UMN is 15k in tuition. 10k a year at BU is 29k tuition. UMN is half the tuition in that case.

Are the vast majority of BU students aiming for BigLaw, and perhaps a smaller percentage of UMN students -- maybe half, or fewer than half?
