Let me know what you choose. We'll get a group together.
I like this idea.
I will text you and NU later tonight about it... I haven't really had time to look it over yet.

I've noticed that a lot of schools have their schedules already. Those lucky students are all snatching up cheap books on half.com. Let's go with the schedules, WUSTL.

Finally signed up for the site.

I've been in St. Louis since the beginning of August for a pre-law program. I finally signed up because one of my classmates in the program made me feel like I'd better get on it.

Would have loved to go to the Cardinals game, but I won't be around.

Love sushi, but won't be here on Aug 21. I get back on the 22.

haven't read all the pages on this section, so if I'm wrong on dates, that's why.

See you all on the first day of orientation.

contact information is michael.torney@gmail.com....if you haven't guessed, thats my name. I live in the Central West End. If you're livin in the neighborhood, let me know; lets meet up and have a drink.

Get at me!

Sorry for the repeated posts; im reading as I post, which is probably a bad idea. Last post, I think.

You can buy certain books now because they are the same regardless of section.

-- HARVARD LAW REVIEW -- "BLUEBOOK: UNIFORM SYSTEM OF CITATION" , 19TH edition, HARVARD LAW [REQ]
-- SLOAN -- "BASIC LEGAL RESEARCH" , 4TH edition, ASPEN [REQ]

how much is it with the discount?

I don't remember; sorry. I bought it a few years ago but I did get it from the WUSTL bookstore so I know they have it.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I asked them last week and they told me it would be sometime this week. I've gone past the point of irritated and now I'm pretty well pissed off.

hopefully they don't continue to push the date back....getting your class assignments next week should still give you enough time to get your order your books and get them delivered before classes start.

You know they will though. I think the admissions office has taken longer on just about every deadline they've given us.

And I'm not worried about getting my books on time, I'm worried about getting them cheaply in decent condition. The longer we wait, its likely we'll pay more.
Don't panic. The bookstore will have stacks of used books available (for any title that is not a brand new edition). Just ensure you don't wait until the day before classes begin to try and locate a used copy there.

Fall of 2008 the assignments were released at the end of the week before Orientation began. If you get section assignments soon you will be way ahead of when we got them in the past. Just check WebStac on a frequent basis because information will likely appear there before you get an official e-mail

Are you sure it is the admissions office and not the registrar's office making the section listings?

I have the 18th edition of the blue book from UG, you think that would be OK or do I need to get the 19th?

a dumb question to ask: do we need to register after they assign our sections, or they will just do for us?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
