Engineering background? URM? Then maybe some chance. Else, >5%.

Right now, barring something really impressive that you're not telling us, really slim.

@ "top 80%"... that's looking at the glass half full, I'd say.
Unfortunately, I don't think there's much cause for optimism when it comes to your biglaw prospects. I would try hitting up some lesser known regional markets instead of focusing solely on DC/NYC and hope graduating from a t14 is enough to have them overlook a less-than-stellar performance in said t14. You'll likely still have plenty of competition ITE, but casting a wide net can't hurt.
Good luck.

Pretty much nil. Even in a very good economy your chance would not be that great unless you have very strong ties to a secondary market with a large regional firm that is desperate to hire a GULC grad. I wouldn't waste time on secondary markets to which you have no ties. Best advice I can give you (or anyone in this situation) is to stop dwelling on biglaw, get your grades up, and get as much practical legal work experience as possible. Also, network with non-biglaw lawyers and start thinking about what kinds of realistic non-biglaw jobs are up your alley.

Why is that anonymous? Not only is it not sensitive employment info, it's the correct advice

probably 50/50 chance--you're basically going to have to call in a favor to get hired by biglaw. Luckily for you, GULC has a ton of alumni in biglaw, so your best bet is to start contacting the alumni base in biglaw and start begging for an interview.

There's a link we can click on if we are curious, but the names don't automatically show up.
I can't let you do it, but I do sympathize with the desire to have fun with this feature.

It used to be a possibility pre-ITE. Now? Next to no chance unless you get a 1L SA position before grades come out. Pretty much the only way that will happen ITE is through a URM recruiting program.

What about the 'top' 86% of the class? Any shot?
I also lolloled at the 50/50 response above... In a good economy, the 'top' 80% of the class at GULC wasn't getting you biglaw.
Honestly.. Bottom 80% at GULC is about as bad as median at a TTT.

Nah. GULC doesn't rank. (just gives honors to top 1/3 and up). I would rather have a 2.8 at GULC (about bottom 80%) than a 2.7 (median at many TTTs). I know some bottom of the class types who got some decent public interest gigs.

well, the good news is that you go to Georgetown, so that alone should get you some interviews.
