Hello All,
Ive seen a few topics on law and economics. Im interested in pursuing economics in my career. I want to be a lawyer who gets to do economic analysis of some sort when dealing with companies. Perhaps Mergers or Antitrust is the area I should pursue. Is this field too specific? What sorts of classes and extracurriculars should I plan to partake in. I will start law school next fall. I want to be prepared. Also if anyone wants to add discussion about antitrust law or mergers law in general please do. Im curious what these attorneys actually do? Is tax an important part? Thanks everyone.

if you like economics classes, take more economics classes in college, it doesn't matter one bit

just take corporations and antitrust as soon as you can in law school. also, get ready for antitrust mergers, you might cream your pants
