I find it disgusting to take someone else' attempt at expressing compassion and instilling perspective in this money-hungry world, and smearing it with your callous and insensitive cynicism.

I agree with this, actually.

Saying, "well, I may have a ton a debt and no job, but at least I'm not that guy over there!" seems rude. Looking at those pictures "for perspective" isn't going to help any of those kids (or anyone else, for that matter).

Yeah, that was directed more at the real Nietzsche then at you. I've never experienced someone use so much language and intellect toward the end of not expressing a cohesive thought.

Sadly, they won't. But, someone from New Haven will write about how bad they felt after looking at the pictures, and how they should be allowed to go to law school so they can protect the rights of homeless trash-picking kids across the globe.
