Big firms are done hiring, clerkships are done hiring, DOJ is done granting interviews, many other fed agencies are sending out or have sent out rejection letters.

3L @ t25 school in a t5 market (but not the best school in/for the market), good grades, no law review or moot court.

No idea what my next step is. I guess small firms and state government, and hope I didn't take on all this debt for nothing.

I'm similarly at a loss for what to do next. 2L at CCN, above median, struck out on the last of my OCI callbacks last week. There are plenty of students at my school in the same position.

I've been mass mailing mid-sized and large firms steadily since the summer, both in and outside of major markets. Had a couple callbacks from those mailings in early September, and since then there have been nothing but rejections.

Career Services' only message seems to be keep mailing, and to start gearing up for the government/public interest job search. It's disheartening to say the least. I put a lot into this whole process, and I have nothing to show for it.
