WAITING FOR OFFERS

If you email the recruiting director asking about status, and you don't hear back... can you assume a ding is en route? This sucks.
My experience is in business and not law, but I assume the two are highly-correlated.
That said, standard conduct indicates:
> 5 business days without email response --> Ding
