Any thoughts on whether they'll have the same crappy offer rate next summer?
Or any thoughts on their summer program in general?
Trying to decide between them and a few other firms in TX. Interested in IP Lit/Pros.

What other firms are in consideration? That would probably get you some better feedback.
I'm not an insider or anything, but I can't imagine things are great at Baker Botts right now, considering the fact that they just recently had some lay offs in Houston (and they had a reputation for being lean to start with). I'm sure everybody read that save above the law article though. Then again, perhaps those recent events won't necessarily have any bearing on their offer percentage (but it's certainly something to think about).

What if the alternative is V&E Texas?

V&E's offer rate wasn't very high either.
BB actually had increased revenues and net income for 2008. V&E's revenues were flat and net income declined.
Q1 and Q2 of 2009 is a completely different story, though.

Do you know what V&E's offer rate was?
Also, what was the different story during Qs 1&2 of 2009?

an abovethelaw article puts it at around 40-60% for the TX offices, depending on which commentator you believe

Anyone heard anything from them recently? My callback was almost a month ago...and nada. Every day I keep checking for my rejection, but don't have it yet.

Why do you all post in "anonymous?" Baker Botts doesn't give a shit if you post about their acceptance right.
