OMM or Latham, which firm would you choose?

Latham (DC) or O'Melveny & Myers (DC)

Interested in antitrust. But not 100% sure.

Having trouble with this decision because I liked the people better at Latham but remain hesitant given the bad press about first-year layoffs.

What does OMM's abandonment of lock-step really mean for the future?

Any advice would really be appreciated! Would like to make the decision soon to free up an offer for someone else. :D

Wachtell. No question.

Both firms are similar in the type of work they do and prestige (Latham might have a slight edge). During your callbacks, where did you feel most comfortable?

OMM isn't exactly doing much better at the moment. At least Latham NY is still hiring.

Latham. OMM was laying people off long before most firms started doing it.

Oh thank you...

I would take OMM, however, I have no precedent to follow.

The shortest war in history was the Anglo-Zanzibar War of 1896, which lasted all of 38 minutes; and, no, you are not as smooth as you'd like to be.
