Not the asker, but why not just share anonymously? If you can't tell by the long waits for pretty much anything from SEO, they're very busy over there and too busy to track the posts here and try to match people up. However, even if they did have the time, they'd already know you were nyc, got in in the last couple days, had two interviews, and are going to CCN(my guess). If they cared to know who you were, they could still find out. This is a 90 person program we're talking about, so there isn't a large pool of people from which to guess. If you don't want your acct linked to the info, post anon, but you already posted way more than SEO would need to roughly determine who you are. Playing coy with people who are just trying to get more information in order to have a better idea if they will get what you already have, or not, is unwarranted. Posting that you're "In" is cool, but its the information behind that which is more valuable. If you didn't want to post the info simply on principle, no problem, but say that. Trying to coerce someone who doesn't have a spot into potentially outing themselves is unnecessary.

I've never made any real effort to hide who I am and don't regret anything I've said on here, so feel free to take this with a grain of salt.

I echo that sentiment. Looking back on previous cycles, this thread was far more beneficial/helpful than its been this cycle. People were legit in it together and had no problem helping each other out with info. This cycle things have been a bit of a joke with no one really getting much out of anything thats been shared. Hopefully future cycles will get back to how it used to be.

As far as anyone knows so far, no DC acceptances yet? That would mean a lot to me, thank you.

So I'm starting to think we can piece together one important fact: the acceptances are for NY and CA, and DC and TX are still waiting.

Accepted people, just so that those of us living in hope can make tentative plans would you mind giving us the exact start and end dates of the internships and the institute and anything else that might occur, if that information has been provided to you?

At least for NY, there are three start dates. The 20th, the ???, and the 31st. I can't remember the middle date, and I don't have it in writing yet. I don't have end dates yet.

Those are the dates I have as well, I didn't hear about a "middle" start date. Institute is from July 29-August 10 which will mark the end of the internship. Also TX people have been accepted. Not sure if all spots there are filled but I know there aren't too many to begin with...

NYC acceptee. IIRC, my caller said a couple firms wanted the earlier start date of the 20th, but SEO orientation would start on the 28th and the first work day for almost everyone would be the 31st. My recall isn't great on this though.
