I got in today, as well, and just formally accepted.

Just for reference, I sent in my seat deposit on Apr. 26 to SEO.

Do you think SEO knows that Berkeley doesn't require a seat deposit? I sent in enrollment confirmation but can't send in deposit info since there isn't any.

I know someone mentioned hearing about a DC acceptance a page or two back, but has anyone on the forum here been accepted to DC?

From what I've heard, they're fine with a simple enrollment confirmation.

Is it safe to assume they'll receive notice of an update to deposit confirmation, or should I email/call?

Anybody else still waiting? Deposited at a T14 a few weeks ago and was hoping for DC placement.

Lots waiting. Just got my deposit confirmation on Friday so I may call or email just to let them know since there was an email from the middle of April asking people to respond to the message if there was no news.

That's surprising. I remember hearing that HYSCCN admits are shoo-ins for SEO.

Me too, but of the last 4 dings 3 were T-6

I withdrew my application months ago and didn't go through interviews since I realized my top choices and goals--I've always been interested in a free, not necessarily prestigious, degree and a public service career--didn't really jibe with SEO's desire for bragging rights. Out of the blue, I received a rejection. So, SEO, I just want to reiterate that I broke up with you first.

Should be another 20 or so to go, then, is what I'd take from it. TY for the info.

I was OP on your quote. Not anymore. I 'm not AA or Latino, so not the most disadvantaged minority either to be fair, and my original interviewer unfortunately highlighted that as a "negative" on my application. It makes sense, but I was a little surprised it was so blatant.

So I've been expecting a ding for some time now (although I did get a follow-up), but rejection's never fun either.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
