I say most should know by now because the organization has a deadline of some kind in which they NEED to gave the class made up. I'm lucky to know a hand full of folks who were also accepted to the program this year and they've said that when they asked in their interview about when we should hear back, it was mentioned that by the "end of April because the foundation has deadlines given to them/or made by them". They need to start placing people with different employers quickly. So, I'm just tryin to offer what I know. I don't know how this year time frame compares to the last, but it's all I know. Hope the info. helps.
No offense, but I see a lot of guessing and not a lot of information in your post. I was told earlier this week that they will still be placing people up until Friday.

To tag along with that, has anyone gotten accepted outside of the NY and Bay Area?

True. I haven't seen anything about DC or TX here.

Were you told this by the program as well?

Did you get in via phone call? Also, do people generally think it's a terrible idea to call and ask for a time frame?
In by phone call. From what I understand they will be meeting with firms this weekend about placements, so I guess decisions will be out by Friday.
