Special bonus odds?

Milbank announced summer bonuses almost exactly one year ago (August 8, 2024). Will Milbank — or another comp leader — do the same again this year?
It's possible a few firms will do it, but I wouldn't get your hopes up that it will be widespread. You have some firms deferring start dates and the big money-making M&A side seems slower this year.
In general, the job market has slowed considerably putting much less pressure on employers to raise wages (or pay bonuses).
