Background Checks

Do some biglaw background checks verify resumes line-by-line? Ex. all university honors/awards, university clubs, work experience descriptions, etc. I have heard some top firms are incredibly thorough in this way.
Asking because I am finding things to stress over and I want to know who I need to line up to verify all these things.

I wouldn't stress unless you are pulling a George Santos. This is Biglaw- not the CIA.
They will probably verify your employment history and transcripts/educational history (GPA, Latin honors), but I very highly doubt they are going to reach out to the former president of the glee club and verify that you sang tenor. These sorts of things are typically outsourced to background check companies who will contact the various institutions to the extent possible. You shouldn't need to line up people to vouch for you.
A true "line by line" resume verification would be almost impossible. Most employers will only verify dates of employment and job titles to third parties. Even if someone there still remembers, they aren't going to tell a background check company which specific projects you worked on.
