D.C. Conservative Boutique SA Hiring

It seems like you basically need to be at HY to have a shot at Cooper & Kirk 1L SA. What about Consovoy, Clement & Murphy, Schaerr Jaffe, and so on? Do these firms recruit at non-HYS T14s? Is it all just connection-based? Thanks!

Can't tell you about SAs, but they certainly all take T14 grads who clerked. I have a friend at one of the firms you listed and they attended a lower T14, but clerked. Just apply, worst case they say no. Try JD (not boutique, but might be a good fit for you). I'm not a conservative but have a lot of friends who run in those circles.

It is all connection-based but meeting the people in charge is very easy.
