If you get accepted into law school fall 2025, you would start fall 2026 as 1l

As there are restrictions on working full time while in law school, can you technically work ft up to spring or summer 2026 before beginning the ensuing fall?

As far as I know, there are no restrictions on you working PRIOR to starting law school. Even up until the day before. But I do believe most law schools either restrict or STRONGLY discourage 1L's from working while in school. And certainly not a full-time job on top of 1L.

How would a law school (or any school) prevent you from working before you become a student there? (Also, why would they?)

Actually, the correct answer is not if you're over 40 BUT UNDER 45 WITH A UGPA OF 3.0 AND AN LSAT OF 178. :D
