It doesn’t look like there’s been an updated thread on the Dallas market since 2020. Anybody have insights on band rankings for corporate and/or litigation post-pandemic? Any general thoughts on culture?

For reference, here are old megathreads on Dallas:

Not sure much has changed in a meaningful way. I think the old threads still generally hold up.

Holland & Knight merger is new but I think people still view Thompson & Knight generally the same.

I agree that not much has changed. The main update is that several national firms trying to start offices in Dallas, while traditional Texas firms continue to bleed talent (looking at you Baker Botts).

I thouht Baker Botts had stopped the bleeding, no? Their public-facing financials seem to be improving at least, but idk if they still have all that debt.

Interested to hear takes / any anecdotals on KE. Is their corporate department busy? Do they have real clients in the Dallas office?
