Litigation boutiques for post NYC clerkship

I'm currently clerking in EDNY/SDNY and am thinking about what I'll do when I finish. End game is AUSA job in the region, and I want to position myself as best as possible.
I worked at a firm for a year before clerking which was okay, but I was wondering whether a boutique would be a better stepping stone to AUSA jobs as opposed to going back to my firm.
What would TLS recommend? Is a v10 firm better than a boutique? What boutiques are particularly good for AUSA in NYC?

Krieger Kim’s recent placement record in USAO SDNY is ridiculous. Ten-lawyer firm with seven associates going to the USAO in just two or three years.

I heard Morvillo hasn’t had much success in sending people to USAOs on the Northeast Corridor in recent years.

Fully admit I don't have a ton of perspective on this, but general attitude from friends who have tried to go down this path seems to be clerkship -> big firm with ties to USAO -> boutique -> exit

I've heard Lankler Siffert has good AUSA placement.

OP here. Would it be better to go to a firm or a boutique if I want to exit for AUSA in a year or two? And if a firm, which one?

The best option would be a trial boutique with a bunch of former-AUSA partners with helpful ties. Wilkinson Stekloff is a good example, and I'm sure there are others.

Keep in mind that the heavy hitter boutiques in the crim world are different from those in the civil world with some exceptions like Kaplan Hecker.
